TERMS & CONDITIONS

QUOTING (RFQ):

• PPAP / FAI requests must be specified at the time of RFQ or purchase order placement. Additional charges may apply for the required documentation and submissions.

• All blanket orders must be supported by a confirmed purchase order before production can begin.

• Requests for coating ( paint, powder coat, or rust inhibitor ) must be made prior to purchase order submission. QHSH cannot be held responsible for rust formation on raw (non-treated) surfaces after shipment from our facility.

• All products are RoHS and DFARS compliant unless otherwise specified.

• All dimensions will be held to ±0.015" or greater, if allowed by the print, and are quoted using standard mill gauge material unless otherwise specified prior to RFQ.

• Product will have standard die-cut edges; However, upon request, Tumbling can be provided for an additional fee.

• All hinge knuckles are free-formed; minor distortion may occur. Hinge barrels are measured using gage pins.
   

PRICING/ORDERS:

• Standard payment terms are Net 30, unless otherwise approved by QHSH.

• Prices are subject to change due to raw material costs and availability- Final price and delivery will be confirmed upon receipt of purchase order.

• Prices are F.O.B. at the point of manufacture. All shipments will be made freight collect.

• Prices are quoted in U.S. currency and do not include any excise, sales, use, property, export, or import taxes, or any other taxes imposed by any taxing authority. Prices are subject to increase by any amount required to cover such taxes, which will be payable upon invoicing.

• Once production has commenced, accepted orders can’t be canceled without incurring a cancellation fee. We will assess the progress made on the order and inform the customer of the applicable fee.

 

TERMS OF PAYMENT:

• Unless otherwise specified by QHSH, the full cost of any order is due upon shipment and payable within the terms set by QHSH.

• Accounts that remain unpaid beyond the specified terms will incur a service charge of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.

 

SHIPMENTS:

• QHSH assumes no responsibility for delays in shipment that are beyond its reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, transportation delays, shortages of required components or materials, or actions taken by the Buyer. No liability or penalties shall be imposed on QHSH for such delays.

• Products will be packaged in standard QHSH packaging.

• QHSH reserves the right to ship and invoice up to 5% over the ordered quantity, unless otherwise specified by the customer.

• QHSH assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to the product after it has been loaded onto the transportation carrier. The risk of loss or damage is borne by the Buyer, regardless of whether title has passed upon shipment. Claims for such loss or damage must be filed directly by the Buyer with the carrier or other responsible party.

• QHSH can only arrange shipping within the United States. For international shipments, the Buyer must use their chosen logistics provider and coordinate shipping through their own company.

 

RETURNS:

• Custom hinges are non-returnable. Buyers may request verification that the product is not being produced for another customer. If a return is authorized, a restocking fee of up to 15% will apply, and the Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.

 

LIMITED WARRANTY:

• For a period of 90 days from the date of sale, QHSH warrants its products to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the following terms and conditions. As the sole and exclusive remedy of the original consumer purchaser, QHSH will, at its option and without charge, either repair or replace products found to be defective within the warranty period, or refund the purchase price, provided that:

1. The products have not been subjected to abuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or servicing, or used in violation of any instructions provided.

2. The products have not been repaired, disassembled, or altered by anyone other than QHSH or its authorized representative.

3. Notice of any defect is provided to QHSH in writing within 90 days of the original purchase date.

4. Upon examination, QHSH determines that a defect in materials or workmanship occurred under normal installation, use, and service.

• QHSH does not assume responsibility for the cost of removal or installation of products, shipping costs for return to QHSH, or any other incidental costs resulting from defects in materials or workmanship.
   

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. Any warranty implied by law, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is hereby disclaimed and excluded from this contract. No representative or person is authorized to provide any other warranty or to assume any additional liability on behalf of QHSH in connection with products sold. QHSH shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages.
